Overseer Mamie V. Gamble was born in Wilmington, Delaware, and educated in the Wilmington Public Schools. With a heart for service and a passion for helping others grow, she has become a trusted spiritual leader known for her compassion, wisdom, and unwavering faith.
In July 1980, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and joined Greater Bethel Apostolic Temple, now New Destiny Fellowship. Her conversion marked a remarkable turning point after overcoming fourteen years of heroin and cocaine addiction. Through the power of Christ, she experienced complete deliverance and continues to boldly proclaim her testimony, “Thanks be unto God who has given me the victory.”
Her life stands as a living testimony that God’s grace can restore every broken life and redeem every impossible situation.

Thanks be unto God who has given me the victory.
For fourteen years, addiction to heroin and cocaine held her captive — a life marked by bondage, brokenness, and seemingly impossible odds. But in July 1980, everything changed. She surrendered her life to Jesus Christ and experienced complete, undeniable deliverance.
What could have remained a private miracle became a public ministry. Overseer Gamble turned her deepest pain into her greatest platform, boldly proclaiming that the same grace that delivered her is available to anyone still bound.
